Galatians
6:4-
You should each judge your own conduct. If it is good, then you
can be proud of what you yourself have done, without having to compare
it with what someone else has done.
Thank you for visiting with us, we hope and pray that you will in
some humble way be bless by being here. Folks the majority of ministry
and missionary activity in the early Church and Ministry was accomplished
by nonprofessionals, ordinary men and women involved in secular
work as their occupations. Jesus entrusted ordinary people with
major responsibilities of spreading the word of God. He knew as
we do today that ordinary people can become extraordinary in ministry
when they are empowered by the Holy Spirit. When the Lord calls
us into His ministry He does not place any limitations on us, we
are only limited by our own imaginations. We can get started today

Romans
12:1-4-8
- Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members
do not all have the same function, so in Jesus Christ we who are
many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We
have different gifts, according to the grace given unto us. If a
mans gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to
his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let
him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing
to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership,
let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do so
cheerfully.
Credentials:
The authority of Jesus was opposed because He was not an approved
religious leader. He did not hold the credentials of a scribe or
Pharisee. They questioned His authority because He was a carpenter's
son from the poor village of Nazareth: Please remember this and
let no one stand in the way of your calling into the Lords' ministry.
The
Lord has called each of us to live for a cause a lot greater than
ourselves. If He were to asked us today what have we done to help
the poor, abused children, senior citizens, abused women, the homeless,
the suffering or the needy period, what could we say? Jesus had
a special place in His heart for the children, the poor, the sick
and the needy. We must spend some time with the Lord and ask Him
how we can use our gifts, blessings and talents to improve lives
of poor, the suffering and needy within our own communities.

John
14:12
-13 - I tell you the
truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done,
and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.
You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the
Son can bring glory to the Father. This you can count on if your
faith and your heart are true. I have seen it time and time again
in my own life.
Chaplain
Fellowship is about the great commission, by recruiting good hardworking
people, people who have been broken, people who have been there,
to go out into the world of the lost, abused, hungry and where the
pain and suffering is, not waiting for them to come to us. We have
been given a vision to build a mighty ministry for the Glory of
the Lords' Kingdom. The apostle Paul said that all believers in
Christ are part of "one body". And if one part suffers,
"all the member parts suffer". Therefore, we must ask
ourselves: Do we grieve when a brother or sister is hurting or in
trouble? Do we experience sorrow and pain in our hearts when a child
of God is stricken with afflictions and trials? If not, we must
get on our knees and ask our Lord and Savior to help us become the
kind of people he wants us to be so we can see and understand the
pain and suffering of others.
James
2:14
- Dear brothers and sisters, what's the use of saying you
have faith if you don't prove it by your actions? That kind of faith
can't save anyone. Chaplains go where others would never dream of
going. Please never let anyone tell you that you are not good enough,
or smart enough, listen to your hearts and following the Lords'
calling in your lives. Many claim to have faith, but my question
always is, are they faithful? Faith to the unfaithful is worthless.
Just something to think about.
When
Jesus asks us to follow and obey Him, His call comes with the promise
of the protection, guidance, sustenance, and rest that we need at
that time in our lives. Folks He knows us intimately, He has walked
among the poor, the out cast, the forgotten and the lost. Please
remember, we make a living from what we get in life, but we make
a life from what we give." As chaplains we must have Jesus
as our Lord and Savior in our everyday lives, without Him we have
nothing, without Him we are nothing.
James
2:13 - "For judgment
is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs
over judgment." Does anyone not want a merciful judgment from
God, before whom all must stand?
One night I was watching a program on TV about prisons and inmates.
One of the cases was about a young man who served 16 months in prison
for stealing a loaf of bread and a can of tuna to feed his wife
and two children, who were homeless and hungry. I can not help but
wonder who the Lord was most displeased with; the man who stole
to feed his family when they were hungry, or the people who put
him in prison for 16 months leaving his family on the street, homeless
and helpless, for taking less than five dollars worth of groceries
to feed his family? I find such thinking very sad, where was the
mercy in this situation? which is just one of the thousands, if
not hundreds of thousands of stories we hear today. Chaplain Gibson
John
13:35
- Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are
my disciples. This is something that we had all better start
thinking about! Help each other and those in need, follow your hearts
and let the love of Jesus Christ show through you.
Becoming
Ordained: Those who join Chaplain Fellowship Ministries become
legally ordained as nondenominational chaplains and ministers. This
gives them the freedom to minister without all the politics and
religious entanglement that may have stopped them or held them back
from following their hearts and feelings of being called to the
ministry. Becoming an ordained chaplain and minister opens up a
whole new world of opportunities in different way to reach those
who are in need. Many pastors who have become members and chaplains
start feeling the blessings once again that they had forgotten,
or had not felt in many years. I can assure you the chaplains of
Chaplain Fellowship not only understand the Gospel of Jesus, they
walk it daily for the Glory of His Kingdom. Folks we can and are
making a difference! Something we all need to think about, "to
the world we might just be one person, but to one person we may
be the world. Please do not your lack of education or life history
keep you from pursuing what GOD is calling you to do, folks we have
been broken or have made mistakes.
It has always amazed me when some people who call themselves Christians
go out of their way to try and belittle, degrade and hurt their
brothers and sisters trying to do the Lord's work.. The Body of
Christ is made up of many different parts, not just those who consider
themselves to be self righteous, desiring to place themselves above
others. How can anyone say that they have the love of Jesus in their
heart and turn around and attack those who following are trying
to help others who are suffering. Many have no idea that most chaplains
serving in the world today do not get paid; they are volunteers
working to help make this world just a little bit better for those
who have little or nothing. I don't know about you, but I will always
do anything I can to stay faithful to the ministry of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your time Chaplain Don Gibson founder of Chaplain
Fellowship Ministries.
